How Hackers Send Virus,RAT,.EXE Files to Victim on Facebook,Gmail,Yahoo etc.

By // No comments:

             POSTED BY -  LAKSHYA DHILLON

WHAT IS A COMPUTER VIRUS ?

A potentially damaging computer program’s, capable of reproducing itself causing great harm to files or other programs without permission or knowledge of the user.

TYPES OF VIRUSES :-

1) BOOT SECTOR VIRUS :-

BOOT SECTOR VIRUSES INFECT EITHER THE MASTER BOOT RECORD OF THE HARD DISK OR THE FLOPPY DRIVE. THE BOOT RECORD PROGRAM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BOOTING OF OPERATING SYSTEM IS REPLACED BY THE VIRUS. THE VIRUS EITHER COPIES THE MASTER BOOT PROGRAM TO ANOTHER PART OF THE HARD DISK OR OVERWRITES IT. THEY INFECT A COMPUTER WHEN IT BOOTS UP OR WHEN IT ACCESSES THE INFECTED FLOPPY DISK IN THE FLOPPY DRIVE. I.E. ONCE A SYSTEM IS INFECTED WITH A BOOT-SECTOR VIRUS, ANY NON-WRITE-PROTECTED DISK ACCESSED BY THIS SYSTEM WILL BECOME INFECTED.

EXAMPLES OF BOOT- SECTOR VIRUSES ARE MICHELANGELO AND STONED.

2) FILE OR PROGRAM VIRUSES :-

SOME FILES/PROGRAMS, WHEN EXECUTED, LOAD THE VIRUS IN THE MEMORY AND PERFORM PREDEFINED FUNCTIONS TO INFECT THE SYSTEM. THEY INFECT PROGRAM FILES WITH EXTENSIONS LIKE .EXE, .COM, .BIN, .DRV AND .SYS .

SOME COMMON FILE VIRUSES ARE SUNDAY, CASCADE.

3) MULTIPARTITE VIRUSES :-

A MULTIPARTITE VIRUS IS A COMPUTER VIRUS THAT INFECTS MULTIPLE DIFFERENT TARGET PLATFORMS, AND REMAINS RECURSIVELY INFECTIVE IN EACH TARGET. IT ATTEMPTS TO ATTACK BOTH THE BOOT SECTOR AND THE EXECUTABLE, OR PROGRAMS, FILES AT THE SAME TIME. WHEN THE VIRUS ATTACHES TO THE BOOT SECTOR, IT WILL IN TURN AFFECT THE SYSTEM’S FILES, AND WHEN THE VIRUS ATTACHES TO THE FILES, IT WILL IN TURN INFECT THE BOOT SECTOR.

This type of virus can re-infect a system over and over again if all parts of the virus are not eradicated.
Ghostball was the first multipartite virus, discovered by Fridrik Skulason in October 1989. Other examples are Invader, Flip, etc.

4) STEALTH VIRUSES :-

THESE VIRUSES ARE STEALTHY IN NATURE MEANS IT USES VARIOUS METHODS FOR HIDING THEMSELVES TO AVOID DETECTION. THEY SOMETIMES REMOVE THEMSELVES FROM THE MEMORY TEMPORARILY TO AVOID DETECTION BY ANTIVIRUS. THEY ARE SOMEWHAT DIFFICULT TO DETECT. WHEN AN ANTIVIRUS PROGRAM TRIES TO DETECT THE VIRUS, THE STEALTH VIRUS FEEDS THE ANTIVIRUS PROGRAM A CLEAN IMAGE OF THE FILE OR BOOT SECTOR.

5) POLYMORPHIC VIRUSES :-

POLYMORPHIC VIRUSES HAVE THE ABILITY TO MUTATE IMPLYING THAT THEY CHANGE THE VIRAL CODE KNOWN AS THE SIGNATURE EACH TIME THEY SPREAD OR INFECT. THUS AN ANTIVIRUS PROGRAM WHICH IS SCANNING FOR SPECIFIC VIRUS CODES UNABLE TO DETECT IT’S PRESENCE.

6) MACRO VIRUSES :-

A MACRO VIRUS IS A COMPUTER VIRUS THAT “INFECTS” A MICROSOFT WORD OR SIMILAR APPLICATION AND CAUSES A SEQUENCE OF ACTIONS TO BE PERFORMED   AUTOMATICALLY  WHEN THE APPLICATION IS STARTED OR SOMETHING ELSE TRIGGERS IT. MACRO VIRUSES TEND TO BE SURPRISING BUT RELATIVELY HARMLESS.A MACRO VIRUS IS OFTEN SPREAD AS AN E-MAIL VIRUS. WELL-KNOWN EXAMPLES ARE CONCEPT VIRUS AND MELISSA WORM

WAYS HACKERS SEND YOU SERVER,VIRUSES AND .EXE FILES VIA INTERNET:

1. Binder

Binder is a software which is used to bind or collaborate the server or virus you have created with some other file like a MP3,JPEG or any other file. You can fool the victim by sending him a song or picture and as soon as he opens the picture or song the Binder also gets open and starts working.

2. Crypter -

A crypter is a tool which changes the binary code of the .exe (virus,RAT etc.)file and applies many encryptions on it which makes the .exe file undetectable. You can use Chrome Crypter.

3. Zipping -

Another smart way to  send files is by putting your server in a Zipped folder and then sending it to the victim.Zipping the file changes the extension of the server from .exe to .zip, which bypasses the file transfer facility of gmail, facebook, yahoo etc..

USE WINRAR & Give password of that file, so AV's not enter in file.

4. Extension -

You can change the extension of the Server you want to send as it is not possible to send .exe files,so you can change the extension of .exe to .jpeg,.mp3 etc. when you save the file and then send it to the victim. But in this method you will have to tell the victim to change the extension back to .exe after he receives the server. This method can only be used in cases where the victim is very dumb and has no knowledge of this field.
A person who is not much interested in cyber security should have knowledge of above mentioned methods as they can be used against anyone.

US company to beam free wi-fi to entire world from space

By // 1 comment:
Washington: A US company is planning to build an 'Outernet - a global network of cube satellites broadcasting Internet data to all the people on the planet - for free.
The idea is to offer free Internet access to all people, regardless of location, bypassing filtering or other means of censorship, according to the New York based non-profit organisation, Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF).
MDIF proposes that hundreds of cube satellites be built and launched to create a constellation of sorts in the sky, allowing anyone with a phone or computer to access Internet data sent to the satellites by several hundred ground stations.

The organisation claims that 40 per cent of the people in the world today are still not able to connect to the Internet.

The organisation claims that 40 per cent of the people in the world today are still not able to connect to the Internet - and it's not just because of restrictive governments such as North Korea - it's also due to the high cost of bringing service to remote areas, 'phys.org' reported.
An Outernet would allow people from Siberia to parts of the western US to remote islands or villages in Africa to receive the same news as those in New York or Tokyo.
The Outernet would be one-way - data would flow from feeders to the satellites which would broadcast to all below. MDIF plans to add the ability to transmit from anywhere as well as soon as funds become available.
MDIF has acknowledged that building such a network would not be cheap. Such satellites typically run USD 100,000 to USD 300,000 to build and launch.
The timeline for the project calls for deploying the initial cubesats as early as next summer.

So here are those Top 10 Computer Mouse Tips :

1) Shift Key and Mouse Click.

Many Text Editors and Programs allow us to Highlight All or Portions of Text using theShift Key and the Mouse.
For an example and giving it a try, place the Cursor at the Beginning of a Paragraph, Hold down the Shift Key and Click at the End of the Paragraph to Highlight the Full Paragraph.

2) Take Full Advantage of the Scroll Wheel.

We all know that the Mouse Wheel ( Scroll ) is used to Scroll Up and Down on a Page. However, this Wheel can also do Much more like :

>> The Mouse Wheel can also be used as a Button. Pressing down on the Wheel will act like a Third Mouse ButtonThis can be used to Open a Web Page in a New Tab. Simply Click the Wheel on any Link and the Web Page will be Opened in New Tab.

>> We can quickly Zoom In and Out on a Web PageWord DocumentExcel Spreadsheet, etc. by Holding down the Ctrl Key and Scrolling Up to Zoom In andScrolling down to Zoom Out.

>> We can move Forward and Backwards while Browsing the Internet by simply Holding down the Shift Key and Scrolling Up and Down. Scrolling down goes Back and Scrolling Up goes Forward.

3) Select with Double and Triple Click.

We can Select any Word by Double Clicking on that Word and if you want to Highlight the Whole Paragraph, click the Mouse Button Three times on any Text in the Paragraph.

4) Take Full Advantage of Right Click.

If you Right Click on any File Drag it while holding the Right Button of Mouse, when you let go you will be given the Option to Move or Copy that File. This saves you the Extra Step of having to Right Click where you want to Paste the Item ( File ).

Many New Computer Mice have Buttons on the Side of the Mouse. These Buttons can be Programmed to do Anything ( all possible Navigation ), however by default the Left Thumb Button can be used to go Back in a Web Browser or Windows Explorer. This makesBrowsing the Internet more Enjoyable since you do not need to move the Mouse Cursorto the Browser Back Arrow Icon in order to go back a Page.

7) Use the Windows " Snap To " Feature.

This Feature if enabled will Automatically move your Mouse to Buttons that appear in aDialog Box.
For example, if you Delete a File or Close a Window you may get a Prompt asking you if you are sure you want to perform the Task. With the Snap To Feature Enabled, the Mouse Cursor Automatically moves to the Ok buttonso all you will have to do is Click the Mouse Button if you Agree. This saves you the time of having to move the Mouse Cursor over to the Ok Button and then Click Ok.

To Enable the " Snap To " Feature follow these simple Steps :
>> Open Control Panel  >>  Mouse Properties  >>  Pointer Options  >>  Check the " Snap To " Check Box.

For more Productivity, we would suggest you to Modify some more Options available inMouse Settings Like :
>>  Increasing the Motion Speed of Mouse Pointer can also help Increase your Productivity while using the Mouse.

8) Manage the Open Window with the Mouse.

Double Click the Top of Title Bar of any Window to Maximize or Minimize a Window. You can also Double Click at the Top Left Corner of the Window to Close that Window instead of Clicking on Red Cross Button i.e. for Closing Window.

9) Move the Mouse with your Keyboard.

Instead of using the Mouse, we can also Enable Windows to use the Number Pad as a Mouse.

10) Customize the Mouse.

If you have New Mouse with more than Two Buttons, then Installing the Included Mouse Software will allow you to Customize the Mouse even more.
For Example, if you don't use the Side Buttons to Move Back and Forth in a Web Browser then you can Change it to something you do more often, such as Switching between Open Windows or Opening any of your Folder or File.
